i went to san francisco! The de YOUNG Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco to see the current exhibit, Birth of Impressionism. The Musee d'Orsay in France is under renovation, so this exhibit was brought to SF, once in a lifetime opportunity! Since Impressionism is up there with my favorite styles of art/music/ect. it was fun to see all of these paintings in real life. i had so many favorites, i will have to go to Paris to see them again.
i'm the fifer! i was hoping they would have clothes to dress up in like at the getty...but this was the extent of painting recreation
